The Secret to Keeping Your Mind Fit
If you are like me, you have probably been frustrated with your current diet and fitness plan. You have tried various diets, exercise programs, and even some of the latest fad diets. I know I have. I have tried all the popular diets, and they all seem to work for a short period of time. Then I start to feel sluggish and tired. The weight just doesn’t seem to come off.
I have also heard many people say that they have tried the latest and greatest workout program, but it just doesn’t work for them. They end up getting injured, or they just don’t see results. I have heard people say that they have tried almost every exercise program out there, and they just can’t seem to find the right one for them.
So what’s the answer?
The answer is simple: you need to change your mindset.
You need to make a conscious effort to stop thinking about your weight, and start thinking about your overall health. There are many ways to do this. Here are some of the ways that I use to keep my mind in shape:
* I set an alarm clock so that I am forced to get up early. When I get up I drink a glass of water, stretch, and then go outside for a few minutes. This is my time to meditate, get some fresh air, and relax.
* I try to avoid watching TV, and instead I listen to music. Music helps me clear my mind, and allows me to focus on something other than food.
* When I am hungry, I eat something healthy that will give me energy. It is important to eat foods that are high in fiber, protein, and complex carbohydrates. These foods will help you feel full, and will keep you from feeling hungry.
